Aly has been a dancer and choreographer for many years and has found her calling in life. Aly truly believes that dance is a way of life. Teaching and choreographing is truly her passion and in doing so she desires to help inspire others. Aside from being a teacher and choreographer Aly’s performance history includes music videos as well as live performances for Z103.5, dancing for “Dances of Offering” and dancing for “Women In Dance” which highlighted women dancers and choreographers with proceeds to benefit breast cancer research. Aly was also honoured when she was asked to be a judge for the “Dance the Dream” T.V. Pilot. A highlight in Aly’s life was winning the prestigious award of Young Choreographer of the Year for both junior and senior divisions at American Dance Awards for the years 2005, 2006, and 2007. She is also the recipient of the Judges Choice Choreography Award from Rhythm Dance Competition. Numerous choreography awards from many other dance competitions fill the walls and shelves as well. During Aly’s years of dancing, teaching, choreographing and judging she received the Ontario Scholarship Award for excellence in academic achievement and continued her studies onward. Aly was the winner of a public speaking contest, which took her to a national level and has helped her tremendously in her speech and delivery. Aly finds that she has a strong ability to communicate with others and is always willing to learn and grow. Aly is excited to be able to share her love of dance with all of her students.
